Position Summary
As a Senior Field Service Automation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of AES’ biotech solutions critical to our client’s manufacturing operations. Your role will involve providing both on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for DeltaV DCS. Drawing upon your DeltaV experience, you will diagnose and resolve complex automation issues, and will be instrumental in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity for our biotech clients. You may also lead the installation, commissioning, and validation of automation equipment, to ensure seamless integration into existing systems. This role requires not only technical proficiency but also effective communication and collaboration skills are essential as you will interact closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to coordinate service activities, escalate issues as needed, and provide timely updates on project status.

- Proficiency in DeltaV: Extensive experience in configuring, programming, and troubleshooting DeltaV distributed control systems (DCS) is essential. This includes knowledge of DeltaV configuration tools, control strategies, and loop tuning techniques.

- Technical Documentation: Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, test protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients, presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in process automation and biotech manufacturing.

Travel
Must be willing to relocate to project locations as required to meet the project needs. Locations include Singapore, Europe or US for periods of 1-3 years and possibly longer in some cases.
