Anca Vacar brings more than 15 years of experience managing complex engineering and design projects, with over 8 years dedicated to the life sciences sector. As a Project Manager at AES, Anca specializes in guiding high-value, cross-functional initiatives that bridge automation, validation, IT, and regulatory compliance to ensure seamless project delivery. Her ability to coordinate diverse stakeholder needs, align global resources, and manage technical execution makes her a key leader in AES’s project management team.

At AES, Anca oversees both internal and client projects, from setting strategy and assigning responsibilities to monitoring performance, financials, and compliance. She has served as a technical lead on large CAPEX projects, developed project reporting and controlling frameworks, and helped strengthen AES’s internal PMO by mentoring the next generation of project managers and technical leads. Her leadership ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Prior to AES, Anca held leadership roles at Biogen, CSL Behring, and Emerson, where she drove major automation, IT, and validation initiatives across large-scale greenfield facilities, technology transfers, and global digital transformation programs. She successfully led multi-million-dollar automation system implementations, created roadmaps for execution systems, and managed vendor teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and innovative solutions across Europe and beyond.

With a Master’s degree in Advanced Process Control and a PMP certification, Anca blends deep technical expertise in automation with rigorous project management skills. Fluent in navigating multicultural, cross-regional teams, she is recognized for her ability to harmonize complex stakeholder needs, mitigate risks, and deliver programs that advance the future of life sciences manufacturing.
