Technical Recruiter

Position Summary
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for driving recruitment efforts
across various engineering disciplines, including Automation Engineering,
Process Engineering, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
Engineering. This role plays a critical part in identifying, attracting, and
hiring top-tier engineering talent for the organization. A key aspect of this
position is having a working understanding of engineering roles and the
specific software tools used in these fields, such as DeltaV, Syncade,
Rockwell, and others, in order to effectively assess candidates and align
with the needs of the hiring teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Recruitment Strategy & Sourcing:
Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to specialized engineering roles, proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and industry events. Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
Candidate Evaluation & Screening:
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews, assessing candidates’ qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit. Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate candidates’ proficiency in engineering software and tools such as DeltaV,
Syncade, and Rockwell.
Job Description Development:
Create, maintain, and update detailed and accurate job descriptions for engineering roles, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and organizational goals. Work with hiring managers to ensure clarity and accuracy in role specifications.
Candidate Engagement & Experience:
Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring transparent communication and guiding candidates through each stage of the recruitment process. Serve as the main point of contact, answering questions and providing insight into job expectations
and company culture.
Employer Branding & Market Positioning:
Contribute to the company’s employer brand by promoting job opportunities and the company’s culture through various channels. Help increase visibility in the engineering talent market through targeted recruitment marketing efforts.
Recruiting Metrics & Reporting:
Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate quality, providing regular updates to management. Analyze recruiting efforts to improve efficiency and candidate sourcing.
Continuous Learning & Improvement:
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging skills, and best practices in technical recruiting. Continuously improve sourcing strategies and candidate assessment techniques.

SKILLS / ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES
- Understanding or willingness to learn about engineering disciplines
and associated software (e.g., DeltaV, Syncade, Rockwell).
• Strong sourcing skills with experience using tools such as LinkedIn, job
boards, and professional networks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and technical
teams to assess candidate qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple
recruitment processes.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Education/Qualifications/Experience
Required: High School Diploma, BA/BS
Experience recruiting for engineering roles (e.g., Automation, Process,
MES Engineers).
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
Travel Requirements
Up to 20% – domestic and international
