Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance and Inspections: Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, and other building infrastructure to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Repairs and Troubleshooting: Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs or replacements on equipment, machinery, and building systems as needed.
- Building Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the facility by addressing minor repairs, painting, and performing general upkeep tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Emergency Response: Address emergency maintenance issues promptly, including power outages, leaks, or HVAC system failures, to minimize downtime or hazards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of materials or parts used to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations by identifying potential hazards, implementing safety procedures, and assisting with safety inspections.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the routine maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
- Facility Improvements: Participate in facility upgrades or renovations by assisting with project coordination and providing feedback on facility needs or improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff, property managers, and tenants to resolve issues, schedule maintenance, and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Inventory Management: Manage and track supplies, spare parts, and materials to ensure that maintenance operations can be carried out effectively without delays.
Qualifications
- General knowledge of building mechanical systems, including but not limited to, HVAC, Pumps, Motors, Chillers, AHUs, RTUS, Fan coils, Boilers and HWH.
- General interior maintenance and light drywall/ carpentry tasks.
- Basic plumbing skills, sink, faucet, toilet repair, etc.
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
- Replace lighting and ballasts.
- Be available for rotating on-call schedule.
- Understand and follow PPE requirements and signage.
- Perform Vehicle and equipment Safety Inspections.
- Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner.
